Scott has represented clients on a number of multi-million dollar acquisition, merger and divestiture transactions. He serves as outside legal counsel to a major university supporting foundation and a prominent academic medical center. His extensive experience includes all aspects of federal and state income tax and state sales and use tax planning, as well as compliance and planning for businesses. He has successfully represented business clients in numerous Internal Revenue Service and Nebraska Department of Revenue tax audits and appeals. As part of his practice, he advises many closely held businesses and numerous tax-exempt organizations, educational organizations, health care organizations and other non-profit organizations.
