John’s securities practice includes providing representation and advice to broker dealers, investment advisors, private and registered investment companies and issuers on a wide range of business, securities and regulatory compliance matters, including private and public securities offerings. He regularly represents clients before state regulators, FINRA and the SEC. John's intellectual property practice includes representing individual authors and artists, publishers, marketing, manufacturing, food processing companies and educational institutions on various matters such as licensing trade secrets, patents and computer software, facilitating technology transfer and, protecting trademarks and copyrights. John also advises a variety of for-profit and non-profit entities on legal matters involving entity formation, business planning, mergers and acquisitions, international trade, distribution arrangements and contracts.
