John represents creditors in actions involving foreclosures, replevin, lien priority, fraudulent transfers, nondischargeability, preferential transfers, constructive trust, successor liability and piercing the corporate veil issues. He has also provided counsel to creditors and creditor committees in insurance company liquidation proceedings, Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 bankruptcy proceedings, and general litigation, in Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, New York, Delaware, New Mexico, Texas and Alabama. In addition, he has advised lenders and other business clients on consumer credit issues, including compliance with Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Truth in Lending Act.
