Al has a varied civil litigation practice and has tried cases involving a wide range of legal issues including environmental, First Amendment and business matters. He advises the print and broadcast media with respect to free speech, open courts, open meetings and other issues. Al also engages in lobbying with the Nebraska Legislature, representing clients in all aspects of state legislation, from drafting and tracking bills and amendments; to monitoring committee proceedings; preparing and presenting testimony; and serving as a personal liaison with key legislators.
