Client Relations and Marketing Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and relationship-focused Client Relations and Marketing Coordinator in our Omaha office to support our firm’s marketing, business development, client relations, event planning, and recruiting initiatives.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a marketing or communications professional who enjoys working in a professional services environment and can balance multiple priorities, collaborate with attorneys and colleagues, and build positive relationships with clients, prospects, referral sources, and community partners.
Working closely with the Client Relations and Marketing Manager and Firm Administrator, the Coordinator will help execute initiatives that strengthen client relationships, support business development, enhance the firm’s communications, and promote the firm within the community.

What You’ll Do
Business Development & Marketing
•    Maintain and monitor the firm’s marketing budget.
•    Assist attorneys with individual business development plans and initiatives.
•    Research, analyze, and track sponsorship opportunities.
•    Support attorneys in leadership and community positions.
•    Coordinate and track special seating and other business development events.
•    Assist with planning client presentations, meetings, and events.
•    Coordinate marketing training seminars for attorneys.
•    Provide guidance and training to associates and other attorneys.
Client Relations, Recruiting & Events
•    Organize, monitor, and support client relations, recruiting, and internal firm events.
•    Coordinate webinars, firm gatherings, celebrations, law forums, and table sponsorships.
•    Support client appreciation events and other special client events.
•    Assist with law student and law school events.
•    Help ensure events and initiatives are well organized and effectively executed.
Communications & Public Relations
•    Support the firm’s website and related marketing activities.
•    Assist with internal and external communications, including firm announcements, newsletters, and articles.
•    Support public relations efforts.
•    Help maintain and enhance the firm’s social media presence.

What We’re Looking For
Required:
•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple projects.
•    Resourcefulness and the ability to work independently.
•    Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to interact confidently and professionally with clients, prospects, referral sources, attorneys, and colleagues.
•    Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and tact.
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and related programs.
Preferred:
•    Prior professional services marketing experience.
•    Experience with professional services marketing and an understanding of applicable professional ethics and conduct requirements.
•    Knowledge of ABA Rules of Professional Responsibility as they relate to law firm marketing.
•    Experience with websites, website analytics, and social media.
•    Experience with Canva.

Work Schedule & Conditions
The normal schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may occasionally be required based on the needs of the firm. Some travel may be required, and the majority of the work will be done in a professional office environment.
This is a nonexempt position eligible for overtime pay for hours worked over 40 in a workweek. The position also requires maintaining a current driver’s license and meeting applicable auto insurance requirements, as well as the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle when necessary for job duties.
